Privacy Policy
Note. This document is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. The English version governs; the Russian translation is for convenience only.
This Policy explains what personal data Omniware ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, the loader and the licensing service, why we collect it, and your rights over it. We collect the minimum needed to sell and deliver a software licence and nothing more.
Contents
1. Who is responsible
The data controller for your information is Omniwarecc, contactable at omniwarebusinesscc@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
We collect only what the service needs to work:
- Email address — supplied by you or by the payment processor at checkout, used to deliver your licence key and handle support.
- Licence key — generated by us and tied to your account.
- Hardware ID (HWID) — a non-reversible identifier derived from your PC, used to bind one licence to one machine and prevent sharing. It is not your name and cannot be turned back into your hardware.
- IP address — seen by the server on each request; used transiently to rate-limit login attempts and reduce abuse.
- Payment status — the plan, amount, currency and whether payment succeeded. We never see or store your card number; that is handled entirely by the payment processor.
- Local browser storage — your chosen language, last payment method and last order reference, stored in your browser so the site remembers your choices. This never leaves your device and is not used to track you.
We do not collect your real name, address, date of birth or any special-category data, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
- To perform our contract with you — create your account, deliver and validate your licence, bind it to your machine, provide updates and support.
- Our legitimate interests — securing the service against shared keys, fraud and automated abuse (HWID binding, IP rate-limiting), kept to what is proportionate.
- Your consent — for any non-essential storage or analytics, which currently we do not use; if that changes, it will load only after you accept in the cookie banner.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with the processors that make the service run, and only the minimum they need:
- Payment processors (card, bank/SBP and crypto providers) — they handle your payment and give us back the result. Their own privacy policies apply to the payment data you give them.
- Our hosting provider — stores the server and database on our instruction.
We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising. We may disclose data if legally compelled by a valid order.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account and licence data while your account exists and for as long as needed for tax, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations, then delete or anonymise it. Login-attempt records are purged automatically within minutes. Payment records are retained for the period your local law requires (often several years).
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at omniwarebusinesscc@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
7. Security
Traffic is served over HTTPS. Keys and tokens are held server-side; payment card data never touches our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we hold precisely so there is little to lose.
